Not much has happened today, but then again, it's only 4pm. I plan on getting into some serious mischief tonight with one of my old friends, Steenie, dropping in from Shenzen. A few things I've seen so far on my daring venture out of the hotel to brave the heat + humidity.

symbols clashing everywhere
I just arrived in Hong Kong today, after a brief layover in Korea. (Don't ever stay at the Best Western Incheon. Bootleggery is all around, starting with Westlife on repeat in the lobby and ending with the rock hard beds.)

DUDE! whampoa is where my uncle used to live. my grandmother lived in the next neighborhood over, hunghom. please tell me that while you were in whampoa, you went into the boat food mall. on the fourth floor there is a kickass shanghainese place. best dandan noodles of my life, and if you like spicy, they have something there (i forget if they have english on the menu) but it's called five finger treasures or something, and it's basically wontons in a spicy chile sauce. DELISH.
ReplyDeleteplease make sure you have roast goose with cellophane noodles. ask for a thigh. go to yat lok in taipo market!
Hope you have fun! Awww I would've loved to see pictures of Incheon too.
