I got the top at Drew Lewis, and it's by a new Atlanta label called Costume Party, which is designed by Jennie Phillipoff. Aside from that, I know nothing else about the line or the designer. I have really come to love this top as it's so workable with many different things. I have a black silk slip that I like to wear under it, but it works with jeans, too. The only thing I don't like is that the bow that you wrap around your waist is made out of grossgrain, and the edges weren't secured against unraveling itself. Unfortunately, I stuck a light to it during the Murphy's law week which has singed a part of it. Thank god it's black so no one can tell.
P.S. I just noticed that the Asian Cajuns blogged about it, too!
Me likey the ruffle straps a lot!!!

ReplyDeleteThe ruffled straps are amazing! It's a nice detail on what would've been a simple black dress.
