fall comes with a tight budget

I've recently financed away my next four paychecks for what could be the most extravagant purchase I've ever made. As a result, I have ZERO funds for a fall wardrobe. (Or what I do have, I've already spent on pre-orders. Dammit! Does anyone else have serious budgeting woes like I do?)

Of course this a huge disappointment as La Garconne has just started receiving their fall merchandise, which is absolutely STUNNING. I've picked out a few pieces, which I will be enviously coveting as I drool over my work computer.

Top (L to R): Zucca Cotton Organdee Short Sleeve Sweater. Zucca Nylon Taffeta Dress. Rag & Bone Double Breast Blazer.

Bottom (L to R): Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Nymph Skirt. Golden Goose Charlyle Boots. Preen Envelope Skirt

  8. I only discovered La Garconne recently and it's LETHAL. Especially the sale. I've banned myself from visiting it for fear I'll max out my overdraft on Acne dresses.

  11. Oh my god, I can't thank you enough for all the NYC tips - such an amazing list! I'll be printing it out so I can carry it around with me when I go. Lower East Side sounds good, I'll make sure to save some time to go there. I'll definitely visit Brooklyn too - Oak sounds like my sort of place...

Thanks again, and if you ever need any tips on where to go in Edinburgh (my home city), be sure to let me know!!
