brunch at parish

Last weekend, I drove out of my suburban bubble to Inman Park for brunch with Sooji and Lola at Parish. I forewent the usual brunch mimosa and opted for a strong, black coffee (with plenty of refills) and had the fried green tomato benedict. My PICs had the fried chicken doghead benedict and the french toast. The fare was super delicious (and a far better option than Highland Bakery, in my humble opinion), but they had me sold at the complimentary beignets. I also loved the abandoned, haunted mansion decor, though the beaded curtain at the entrance felt a bit kitsch.

    Hoooly French Toast. I LOVE brunch. Maybe a little too much. And topped with that Celine pouch, I might die from all the eye candy. Yikes.

    That French toat looks scruptious...considering it's nearly 1am here in Ireland I should probably try and restrain myself from breaking out the frying pans and making some until the morning :) Your outfit is lovely...the shoes are fab!

    Woooo I love the menswear blazer with shirt and a relatively 'ladylike' lower half.
    You ought to come to HK and we can have brunch together and contemplate about getting Edna Mode haircuts. I tried dressing up as her once but failed on account of my height.
